Yoga can be an essential ingredient in everyone’s life.  In order to do yoga poses, the only equipment you need is your body and mind.  It will exercise them both, as it encourages you to reflect on yourself and discover your inner peace.  In this stressful era of multi-tasking and short attention spans, yoga poses help us to slow down and pay more attention to the world within.  Even a simple yoga pose can help you become more centered.  Practice each yoga pose with deep, relaxing breathing.  This is a great way to manage stress while working on your fitness and flexibility!

 "Yoga," from the Sanskrit word "yuj," means "to unite or integrate." It’s all about uniting your consciousness with the universal consciousness.
